AP ® tests are college-level exams on specific subjects and are administered in May upon the completion of an AP course taken at a student's high school. At many colleges and universities, a high enough score will earn the student college credit.
Students take AP exams in May and receive their scores in July. ... Unlike the SAT or ACT, AP exams are not directly related to college admissions, since schools do not require that students take them.

Counselors are available to be contacted through their emails, phone, or any other indicated forms of communication. If possible, students can set up a video chat meeting to address any academic concerns, senior year coursework schedule, and college planning.
SAT Knowledge
What better time to study for the SAT than now? Be as prepared as you can by utilizing Khan Academy to study and practice for the exam! Khan Academy is a free, learning tool students can use to excel in their courses and subject-based exams. Students have access to lecture videos, practice exams, and personalized study plans. Rally up some of your peers through Google Hangouts or Zoom and host an online study group session to tackle the SAT in the fall. About 130 colleges and universities in California no longer require SAT or ACT tests for admission in fall 2022. However, scores will still be used to find the right course placement for you.

E-Learning
You may not be able to make any campus visits for the remainder of your junior year, but you can still explore the campuses virtually! Many universities are offering a virtual experience of their campuses. As you begin to consider your colleges and universities of interest, check out their individual websites to gain insights about their programs of study and campus resources to help you succeed as a prospective student. Work with your counselor to develop a list of the colleges and universities you would like to apply to in the fall.
